Baltimore Highlands Engagement

Many neighbors I speak with in Baltimore Highlands feel neglected. For decades, special interests have controlled our councilperson, steering resources toward developers while neighborhood needs were pushed aside. That’s why roads like Daisy Ave. are in disrepair and too many streets still lack sidewalks despite major opportunities like light rail access, waterfront proximity, and a naturally walkable, bike-friendly street grid.

Now is the time to change course.

Join Paul Dongarra in the community this week:

Friday, February 20

  • 8:15 – 9:00 AM — Greeting parents during morning arrival at Baltimore Highlands Elementary

  • 9:00 – 11:00 AM — Community trash cleanup along Annapolis Rd.

  • 12:00 PM — Lunch and conversation at John's Italian Deli

Saturday, February 21

  • 6:00 – 8:00 PM — Meet and talk about the future of our community at Shannon's on Annapolis Rd.

Come learn how this publicly financed campaign can change how our neighborhoods are treated and help chart a new course toward a stronger, brighter future for ALL of District One.
